Most of our clients turn an additional profit using WhistleTix to handle their ticketing. Here's how it works: we charge a small fee on each ticket you sell. You, in turn, charge your customers a small service charge on each ticket they buy. Unlike most of our competitors, we put you in control of the service charge - set it higher than our fee and you'll make a premium on every sale. Our fees are among the lowest in the industry. Depending on your average ticket price, you can usually charge a low, 10% service charge and make a nice profit each month, even after you settle up with us.
How do I set the service charge?
Our Ticket Product Builder makes it easy to set your own service charge, and customers see it broken out separately when they buy online. Our sales reports show service charges on a separate line item, so you always know how much revenue is from ticket sales and how much is from service charges.
Can I apply the service charge to phone orders too?
Sure. With WhistleTix, the amount of the service charge and when to apply it are entirely up to you. Many of our clients find that applying the service charge to phone orders yields a significant boost in profits while encouraging customers to order online.
Do you charge a fee on tickets sold over the phone or in-person?
Yes. But our fees on tickets you sell yourself over the phone or in-person are a lot less than the fees we charge for tickets sold online or through our call center. And we’ll help you set your convenience fees so that you'll never have to come out of pocket to pay our fees, regardless of how many tickets you sell or how they are sold.
What if I don't want to charge any fees?
Then don't. You'll be one of the brave few who assume the cost themselves. And more than likely, the increase in sales you'll see as a result of using WhistleTix will be more than enough to cover our fees.
